With over 20 years of experience in government, corporate, and wedding planning, Denise specializes in creating unforgettable weddings and floral designs for couples in the Bay Area and beyond.
As the oldest of five children, Denise grew up in the Midwest and studied Philosophy and Political Science at Michigan State University. Her passion for event planning began in political campaign work, which led to her role as a Community Affairs Specialist for U.S. Senator Carl Levin. This experience honed her diplomatic and logistical skills, enabling her to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. Yet Denise sought a creative outlet, which she found in the wedding industry, where she fell in love with bringing couples’ visions to life.
Known as the “Queen of Logistics,” Denise is a joyful, detail-oriented Type A planner with a flair for flawless productions and designs. Her expertise is planning timely, cohesive, beautiful wedding experiences. Recognized as one of the Best Wedding Planners in America by Brides Magazine, Party Slate, Grace Ormonde, and The Knot, she is well known in the industry for connecting a diverse range of couples and bringing their wedding dreams to life.
Outside of planning, she loves the color purple, gourmet cheese platters, wine, 80s music, Prince, Beyonce and the Marvel Universe. She even designed a Black Panther-themed styled shoot that was featured on PopSugar. She is a life-long member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
