Sikh Punjabi Wedding in the Bay Area
We planned and designed Sharan and Jashan’s Sikh Punjabi wedding celebrations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, bringing together traditional Punjabi wedding customs, colorful celebrations, and beautiful Northern California venues.
The festivities began at the bride’s family home in Fremont, where we designed the Mayian and Mehndi celebrations with vibrant colors and traditional Punjabi details. Surrounded by family and friends, the couple celebrated these meaningful pre-wedding traditions before their Sikh wedding ceremony.
Sharan and Jashan exchanged vows during a traditional Sikh wedding ceremony at a Gurdwara in San Jose, honoring their faith and Punjabi heritage. Sharan wore a stunning bridal lehenga by Sabyasachi, featuring intricate embroidery and traditional bridal details. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds took wedding portraits at the beautiful Filoli Gardens in Woodside, surrounded by the estate’s historic architecture and gardens.
The celebrations continued with their Sangeet and wedding reception at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, where guests gathered for music, dancing, and Punjabi wedding festivities. With Jashan originally from Seattle, the couple also hosted a wedding reception there, allowing them to celebrate with family and friends in both Northern California and Washington.
