We planned and designed this colorful same-sex Indian fusion wedding at Casa Bella in Sunol, California, celebrating two brides, their cultural traditions, and their individual personalities.
The wedding festivities began with an Encanto-inspired Mehndi featuring vibrant colors, playful details, and colorful décor by Regina Decor Studios. Both brides had their henna applied together by Mehndi Designer, sharing the experience as they prepared for their wedding.
The following day, the brides got ready together, with hair and makeup by Beauty Innovations. One bride loved teal, while the other loved purple, and we incorporated both colors into their wedding attire and décor. Their personalized fusion wedding ceremony included meaningful spiritual elements that reflected their relationship and traditions.
The reception was just as personal and creative. In addition to a traditional wedding cake, the brides had a cake made of stacked cheese wheels and named their reception tables after different types of cheese. Their signature drinks included lavender lemonade and an Empress gin cocktail with teal coloring, complementing the wedding’s colorful design.
From the Encanto-themed Mehndi to the spiritual ceremony and cheese-inspired reception, every detail reflected the personalities of both brides.
